Garland

...Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities, no doubt, crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can, tomorrow is a new day;...
-- from Write it on your heart, Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882)

  1. Love this quote, and I could EASILY see its making its way onto one of my art journal entries/pages!... I can easily get caught up on a disappointment/resentment, but I try very hard NOT to. I just do my best to shake whatever ails me OFF, and like the quote says, move on to better things. Dwelling on the negative is poison to the soul, and as one of my very favorite fictional characters, Scarlett O'Hara, would say, "Tomorrow is another day"! Make the best of it, right?! ~tina

  2. It certainly spoke to me. I try very hard to remember it daily. :-)
